Weight loss is prevalent among patients with metastatic cancer; accelerate loss of muscle mass & associated with poor treatment intolerance. Healthcare providers (HCPs) often do not screen for cancer induced cachexia and overlook the need for nutritional intervention. We aim to highlight the urgency of early screening to slow cancer cachexia progression and elevate the role of nutrition.
