The risk of diabetic kidney disease (DKD) is increasing which leads to increase the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) by eightfold. Healthcare providers (HCPs) often do not screen for DKD early and overlook the need for nutritional intervention. We aim to highlight the urgency of early diagnosis to slow DKD’s progression to CVD and elevate the role of nutrition.
